Mae Sai floods: two metres of water and four feet of mud

On 10 September 2024 floodwater over two metres deep filled our ministry centre. This is how the community helped us rebuild.

On 10 September 2024 severe flooding hit Mae Sai. Water rose over two metres and completely covered the ground floor of our building. When it drained, about four feet of mud was left inside and out.

It took around eight weeks before the streets were passable again. Friends, neighbours and partners came to dig, clean and pray with us. We are deeply grateful for every pair of hands and every gift.

The restoration that began then led to the dedication of our new headquarters in 2025.
